- JE Electrical: 3-year Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engg. or combination of related sub-streams.
- JE Civil: 3-year Diploma or B.Sc in Civil Engg. or related sub-streams.
- JE Track Machine: 3-year Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Automobile/Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation & Control Engg.
- JE Mechanical: 3-year Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Automobile/Production Engg. or related sub-streams.
- JE Diesel Electrical: 3-year Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engg. or related sub-streams.
- JE S&T/Telecom: 3-year Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/IT/Communication/Computer Science Engg. or related sub-streams.
- Depot Material Superintendent: 3-year Diploma in any Engineering discipline.
- Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant: B.Sc with Physics & Chemistry (min. 45% marks).
